Weather might get spicy 🌶️ this evening . Stay weather aware ! With high winds predicted , it’s a good time now to secure trampolines , lawn furniture , outdoor potted plants .Tomorrow (Sunday evening). This is a forecasted measure of "juice", or buoyancy in the atmosphere. The fancy meteorological term is surface based CAPE. Anything over 3,500 is extreme. The line of storms should follow the plume of +3,500 (white/purple), first moving SSE over the western half of OK, then a turn more ESE near the Red River/north TX around 8 PM tomorrow. Most people over north TX, central OK, and western OK will see 60-80 mph gusts however, there will definitely be spots nearing 100 mph along the way. ... See MoreSee Less

Mr. Harry Norman Whisler of Granbury is turning 103 years old June 15. His family is trying to get 103 birthday cards together to present to him . Let me tell you about Mr.Whisler . He’s a World War 2 vet who landed in France during D-Day and fought across France all the way to Germany. I’ve spent some time with him after a chance meeting in the local Wal-Mart and the stories he has about those days should be recorded in a book. He was an army medic during D-Day and the push to Germany. He even told me about a funny interaction he had with General Patton . If you could find the time , please send Mr. Whisler a birthday card to honor a great 103 year old American hero. ... See MoreSee Less
