Texas Rangers Tornado Relief Event

The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and FOX Sports Southwest raised funds to support victims of the devastating tornadoes that hit Oklahoma and North Texas in May during FSSW’s Rangers-Astros telecast on Tuesday, August 20th. First responders unfurled flags of Texas, Oklahoma, and the United States on-field. The colors were presented by the Granbury Marine Corps Jr. ROTC Color Guard and the Oklahoma City Fire Department Honor Guard. The ceremonial first pitch ceremony included participants from Moore (Lt. Shonn Neidel, Moore Fire Dept.), El Reno (Teresa Ramsey), Shawnee/Bethel Acres (Jon Lowrey), and Hood County (Alfonzo Hernandez). The event raised a total of $164,261 through auctions and other fund raising activities performed that night. Read More at MLB.com or Read More at Hood County...
